What We Do
At WL Consulting, we assist individuals and families in claiming surplus funds that may be rightfully owed to them after a tax sale or foreclosure. These funds often go unclaimed — and we believe that your money belongs with you, not lost in the system.
We and our legal teams handle all the research, paperwork, and submission process, so you don’t have to navigate confusing county procedures or legal jargon alone.
A Note About the Process
It’s important to understand that no government agency is actively ensuring you receive these funds. In fact, there’s often a conflict of interest: if funds go unclaimed within a set time period, they are forfeited and typically retained by the same agency that holds them.
That’s why our role matters. Our legal and research teams dive deep — reviewing estate values, property records, liens, judgments, and other public documents — to accurately assess what you’re truly owed and prepare the strongest case possible on your behalf.
Who Can Use Our Services
To work with us, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You’ll also need to sign a basic legal service agreement with us.
No Upfront Costs
We believe everyone should have access to what’s rightfully theirs — without worrying about upfront legal fees. Our service is 100% contingency-based, meaning we only get paid if you do.
All fees are clearly stated in writing and agreed upon before we ever file a claim. No surprises.
What We Need From You
To move forward, we simply ask that you:

Public Records We Use
Much of the information we work with comes from publicly available foreclosure and tax sale records. We use this information only to support your claim, calculate accurate amounts owed, and prepare your paperwork. We never sell or share this data with outside companies.
No Guarantees (But We’re Pretty Good at This)
Every claim is unique. While there may be a record of funds being owed to you, we can’t guarantee a recovery until our team has completed a full discovery and legal review — including verifying the amount owed and accounting for any outstanding judgments or liens.
What we can guarantee is that we’ll treat your case with the same care and attention we’d give our own: thoroughly, thoughtfully, and always with your best interest in mind.

Ending the Process
You’re free to withdraw from the process at any time before we submit your claim. After submission, the agreement we’ve signed together will guide any next steps.
